Rock 92.3 Rock & Roll Bank Account official contest rules

Rock 92.3 WYNU contests are open to all legal U.S Residents except full or part-time employees of Forever Communications, its subsidiaries, their families, participating sponsors and promotional partners. Other radio stations in the Jackson and West Tennessee area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. No prior employees or people that have been employed by Forever Communications within twelve months of contest date are eligible to play or win.

No more than one member of any household is eligible to win or participate in a contest sponsored by Rock 92.3 WYNU within a sixty-day period.

Persons must be at least 18 years of age to play and win, unless specified otherwise.

To participate, contestants should call (731)427-9968 or 1-866-762-5923, unless otherwise specified. In most area of West Tennessee this is a free call and does not require dialing an area code. If you doubt, check with your local telephone service provider.

Each fictitious Rock & Roll bank account includes an amount of money expressed in the form of dollars and cents. 

First daily play is at 7:10 AM when listeners will be asked to be the ninth caller at the above number(s). At that time there will be an announcement of the most recent incorrect high guess and incorrect low guess. The contestant will be asked for one guess, in the amount of dollars and cents. They will be told whether that guess is too high or too low. If it is correct, they will win that amount. Also, at that time, WYNU will announce the approximate next time to play the contest.

Subsequent daily plays will follow the same scenario as above, except the incorrect guesses will only be announced at the 7:10 AM play. 

Each contestant who wins the cash amount, also wins a boxed CD set of that artist’s music.

Each contestant who plays the contest will be awarded a $10 “download card” just for being the correct caller.

When an amount is won, another fictitious Rock & Roll bank account will be used to begin the game all over again.

The Prizes and Taxes

Values are subject to change at discretion of Rock 92.3 WYNU and all parties involved.

Winner is solely responsible for:
1. Transportation to and from any location, unless specified otherwise by Forever Communications.
2. All taxes incurred on all prizes won.
3. Providing valid photo identification in order to claim prize, travel or to fly within or out of the United States.

By playing this contest, contestants give Rock 92.3 WYNU permission to use his or her names and/or any likeness in any photographs, print, video, or audio tapes for publicity purposes with no further compensation.

A list of prize winners will be available after all prizes are given away and may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Rock 92.3 WYNU Promotions, 122 Radio Road, Jackson, TN 38301.

Winner must provide two forms of valid identification (drivers license, birth certificate, state-issued ID, social security card, major credit card) to claim their prize.

Rock 92.3 WYNU is not required to honor other forms of identification or any identification that has been tampered with or altered.

Winner must claim prize at 122 Radio Road, Jackson, Tennessee 38301 weekdays between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm, (excluding Holidays and Weekends)
Winner must sign claim sheet after proof of ID is shown, accepting all prizes won, and in doing so acknowledges any and all tax liability.

Winners are required to sign a release form agreeing to release and hold harmless Rock 92.3 WYNU, Forever Communications, its officers, directors, employees, sponsors, partners, agents, assigns and affiliated companies from attorney fee, as a result of participation in the contest and/or use of the prize.

Forever Communications is not held liable in the event of legal problems during travel.

Forever Communications is not held liable in the event or any personal injury or property damage after prize has been accepted.

Forever Communications is not held liable in the event of any technical problems with the phone line, during a call in contest or otherwise.

Forever Communications is not held liable for improper identification while traveling in, leaving or entering the United States.

In the event that the required transportation is missed, Forever Communications is not held liable for additional costs of travel.

Contest can be terminated by Rock 92.3 WYNU at any time without prior notice.

Forever Communications interpretation of the rules shall be final and binding upon all participants.
